Hello, my name is Alexandra Grace Chaffino. On September 9, 2024, I was admitted to Cedar Springs Hospital for an attempt on my own life. Since then, I have been struggling and clawing my way to the top to try to get out of my debt. When I finally found I was in a place where I could deal with my debts again, I was admitted a second time involuntarily with the pressure of family, police, and the hospital team. Although I chose to admit myself the second time, it did not feel like a choice. It felt like an obligation.
I am seeing the repercussions of this action tremendously, in the form of thousands of dollars of debt. If anyone is seeking proof for this, I have all the records of my debts totaling to about $24,000. Cedar Springs refuses to direct me to the billing department. Mentally STRONG refuses to sign my disability paperwork, stating it as a miscommunication. I am being discriminated against for the fact that I am bipolar.
Any money or any help is greatly appreciated. I am not seeking $24,000; I am seeking a number more reasonable like $5,000 until I can get my help. My plan is to admit myself into long-term rehabilitation. Thank you in advance for your time reading my story.
Sincerely, Alexandra Grace Chaffino.
