Hello, my name is Hannah. I am one of Aleasia’s closest friends. I am hoping sharing her story will help her with the burden of medical bills and help her lift her spirits during this difficult time. Please donate if you are able… anything will help. Thank you!

Below is her story in her own words:

Hello, my name is Aleasia, I’ve had these “episodes” for the past 6 years of my life where I simultaneously and uncontrollably throw up and have loose stools. I’ve been to multiple GI doctors, all of which told me nothing was wrong with me besides irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and visceral hyperalgesia (overactive stomach nerves which make me engage in cyclic vomiting).

However, on August 7th, 2024 my life changed forever when I was told I had huge cysts on my right ovary and tube that needed to be removed. Turns out, my right ovary was revealed to be malignant for Dysgerminoma. The tumor on the ovary had burst, prompting a second surgery where I was staged as Stage 1, and they let me know the cancer did not spread! I’ve had multiple OB oncologists as the type of providers my insurance covers was going to change. The new OB Oncologist explained to me that I needed to freeze eggs as the dysgerminoma may come
back in the other ovary and would probably do so within a year of when it is first discovered. We thought this was the explanation for all of my stomach issues as the symptoms of this cancer are mostly stomach related, so I healed and tried to move on with my life but still struggled with a lot of stomach pain and issues.

I went to the ER for the recurrence of these episodes on multiple occasions (May, June, August), all of which I was told nothing was wrong with me. When I went in August 2025, a CT scan revealed that I had cysts on my other ovary.
Naturally, I freaked out and was convinced the cancer metastasized in my remaining ovary like I was warned. The ER did an ultrasound and repeatedly reassured me that the cysts weren’t cancerous. Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, the symptoms became uncontrollable again so I returned to the ER.
Here, I called my OB oncologist who took control of my care and looked at all the scans himself. That is when he told me I had 4 more masses that all appeared to be cancerous and that they needed to be removed ASAP.
I went into surgery Friday, August 8th, 2025 and the remaining left ovary was removed, putting me in menopause and taking away my ability to have any genetic children (thank god I froze eggs). My entire omentum was removed, as well as a lymph node and another mass that was unattached to any important organs but was near my spleen and colon. All four masses have came back positive for Dysgerminoma again, making me a stage 3C
cancer patient now.

I was discharged from the hospital on August 11th, was home for less than 24 hours and was admitted back in the hospital the following morning. I’m in the hospital again to try to get my nausea and vomiting under control before we start chemo. I have a post op ileus currently.

My current monthly bills are $1,183. This does not count the numerous testing, scans, hospital bills, ambulance bills, and then my chemotherapy bill that I will start once I am feeling better and healed.

Can’t work until Sept 22nd (depending on how chemo treats me).

Once my body is healed I have the following BEP chemo schedule for five 21 day cycles (105 days):
It’s everyday Monday through Friday then two Mondays in a row and I repeat that three week cycle 4-5 times

My oncologist suggested making an amazon wish list for items to keep me busy… if you’re interested in this link, please contact me directly!
