I started this Grass roots dog rescue in 2008 after retiring as a Law enforcement officer in Ga , After moving to rural Alabama In 2008 with 6 rescued dogs from Lake Jackson Ga where I lived for 15 years. Next thing I know I had 10 dogs 2 weeks later 22 dogs, bu people dumping their dogs on my county dirt/gravel road I live on in the woods with no neighbors on 2 acres all fenced in. Since 2008 I alone with no Help a one man operation I have Been able to rescue 742 dogs/puppies. I current have 79 throw away dogs here no one wants, I turned this rescue into a DOG SANCTUARY 2 years ago for these dogs here because most are big dogs, special needs, I usually just have 2 fundraisers a year I do myself. I go through 100 lbs of dry dog food a day and 12 cans for the old seniors ages 12-20 years old. at a cost of $450.00 a week just for food.
