Donate to Aid Yana and Her Mother with Medical Expenses

Hello all! I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend and her family.

Yana’s mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and currently is in active treatment. Just before this news came, Yana has been in and out of the emergency room and an abdominal CT has revealed she has an 8cm teratoma; although benign, it is causing recurring health issues and must be surgically removed, and will potentially require an oophorectomy (removal of one or more ovary) and/or ilectomy. She is also suspected to have autoimmune dysautonomia, however a diagnosis has not yet been reached. Additional complications have caused surgery to be delayed.

Due to these health complications, Yana will be returning home to temporarily live with her mother, and these funds will be going to help the two of them. Post surgery, Yana will also temporarily be out of work for recovery.

This fundraiser is looking to help the Taran Family with medical expenses not covered by insurance, meeting the insurance deductible, and supplementing monthly bills, as their conditions have caused her to miss work and her mother to be temporarily out of work for treatment.
