It is with an excruciating and heavy heart that I am informing you all that our beautiful boy Turk has crossed the rainbow bridge. Our home is feeling empty and heart broken but the support, love and comforting words has meant the world to us. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this beautiful family, I am grateful beyond measures that during tragedy people can find it within their hearts to help in the ways they can.

Hi there everyone.

My name is Lisandra and I am starting this GoFundme for my sister and brother-in-law who are going through the most challenging time. They heartbreakingly just had to lay their best friend down, their cat named Benny. Now just a few days later, they found out their other best friend, Turk - the sweetest tripod pit- was bit and has anaplasmosis. He was rushed to the hospital tonight because he is currently experiencing kidney failure and fighting for his life.

I am not one to ask for help but I am truly asking you to find it in your heart to donate whatever amount you can because they are facing wild hospital bills from this past week alone, let alone trying to simply exist in this world.

If you know these remarkable human beings, Stephanie and Matt, you truly know the epitome of people who are selfless and entirely embody what pure love is. I would do anything for these two people I am lucky enough to call family and it would mean the world to me if you could put yourself in their shoes, empathize with this atrocious situation, and imagine if it was your best friend. I will forever be thankful for your time and contribution to helping two people who have constantly given back to the world around them.
