Fundraiser Story
My name is Quanna, and I am fundraising to support my dear friends and family in Mandeville and Trelawny, Jamaica, who have been severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
Reaching out for help is never easy, but the situation on the ground requires urgent assistance to help them get back on their feet.
As many of you may know, Hurricane Melissa have caused significant damage across Jamaica and these communities. Homes have been destroyed, essential belongings lost, and the local infrastructure heavily impacted. My loved ones, neighbors and friends are facing incredible challenges right now, from securing safe shelter to affording basic necessities like food and clean water.
The funds raised will go directly to them to cover essential needs and help with the rebuilding process. Specifically, donations will be used for:
Temporary Housing/Home Repairs: Repairing damaged roofs and walls to make homes safe again.
Food & Water: Ensuring families have access to daily meals and clean drinking water.
Basic Essentials: Purchasing essential supplies like clothing, personal hygiene products, and medical needs.
Clean-up Efforts: Assisting with the immediate clean-up and removal of debris.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference and provides not just financial relief, but also the emotional support and hope they need during this difficult time.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser with your network. The more exposure we get, the faster we can help our community in Jamaica recover.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With gratitude,
Quanna,
