Hello family and friends I wanted to reach out and share something important. A very close friend of mine, Staci, is going through a really tough time. Her mom, Sue, was admitted to Providence Hospital in Eureka on 7/16 for congestive heart failure. While there, her condition became critical due to severe COPD complications, and she went into respiratory distress. Her CO2 levels reached to an almost fatal levels where she a almost lost her life twice here. Sue was stabilized and recently transferred to a rehabilitation center in Redding, where Staci and her stepfather, Michael, were helping care for her. Since they live far away, they had to cover unexpected costs like hotel stays, gas, food, and medical. On September 1, 2025, Sue passed away peacefully with family by her side at Mercy Medical in Redding. We will be honoring her wishes for her cremation. Any donations for flowers or food will graciously be accepted for her cremation. The only peace we have right now is that shes not suffering.
