My name is Seldine, and I am a Ross University Medical Student from Haddo, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Recently, a devastating hurricane struck my hometown, leaving many of my loved ones without roofs and damaged homes entirely, including the house I grew up in. While I'm abroad continuing my medical education, my heart remains with my family and community back home, who are struggling to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of this disaster. Many are without basic necessities like food, clean water, and shelter. I'm doing everything I can to help from afar. My goal is to purchase and fill barrels with food hygiene products and essential supplies to send back home so that families can sustain themselves during this critical recovery. Your support, no matter how small, will directly go towards these efforts. Every contribution helps put food on a table, clothes on a loved one's back, or a roof over someone's head. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign to help families in Jamaica get through this state of emergency. Together, we can bring relief and hope to those who need it the most. Thank you for your kindness and compassion .
If you would like to donate on your own directly to the community, nonperishables, sheets, blankets, clothing, toiletries, appliances, curtains, and other items. Please send items to this address:
