Patrick was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has landed him in the ICU. As of right now, he’s intubated & sedated. He has a subarachnoid hemorrhage, and a diffuse axonal injury. The doctors are doing their best to keep him comfortable and hopefully take the breathing tube out when he’s ready, he’s just not showing us that he is yet. Patrick always takes care of everybody else and now it is our turn to take care of him. To say I’m scared is an understatement; it’s so hard to see him in pain & dealing with so many issues. Sebastian is at a different hospital as well, so I am constantly splitting my time between my boys & also trying to work and keep everything together on my own.
