Help Domestic Violence Survivor

Dear Friends, Family, and Well Wishers,

I am writing to you today with a heartfelt plea for your help and support in a time of unimaginable hardship for my sister, Sarenth Sok, and her young son. On August 9, 2024, Sarenth was the victim of a brutal act of domestic violence when she was shot in the back of her head. Since the attack, she has been in an unstable. Her injuries are severe, and her recovery is uncertain. Currently, due to limitations in her medical insurance, Sarenth is receiving only minimal care, and she desperately needs additional treatment that her current coverage does not provide.

In addition to her own suffering, Sarenth’s young son has also been a victim of domestic violence. They were both tragically involved in a homicide case, and as a result, they have lost everything— their home, their security, and their sense of safety. The trauma they have endured is beyond words, and thankfully her son has recovered. However my sister is now in dire need of medical assistance and a very longstanding rehabilitation.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to support Sarenth and her son, but we are facing overwhelming challenges. Their medical and living expenses are mounting, and without external assistance, we fear they may not be able to access the critical care that Sarenth needs to survive and begin her recovery.
