Donate to Aid Ruby's Recovery Journey

Hi everyone, I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my niece, Ruby.
Earlier this month, Ruby developed a fever and lethargy, which led to her being admitted to Rady Children’s Hospital. They found her hemoglobin at 2.9. She was admitted to the ICU, had to get a PICC line placed, and has received over 10 blood transfusions. They’re still unsure of the cause of it all, but it’s causing hemolytic anemia. Her official diagnosis is called cold hemolytic anemia, which is a rare autoimmune disease. She’s out of the ICU thankfully, but Ruby can’t leave the hospital until her hemoglobin can maintain at a certain level without needing transfusions. She’s in good spirits and always accompanied by Mommy or Daddy. That being said, Ryan and Carissa have needed to take time off from their full-time jobs to be there for Ruby while the family has rallied together to help keep her twin brother, Rocco, busy and entertained. On top of everything, they’re going to be facing hefty medical bills and that’s the last thing they should be thinking about. Any amount helps if you feel inclined to help out
