Jamaica — the island of rhythm , resilience , and One Love ❤️ — now needs our help.
Hi, my name is Ricardo Barrett, a hardworking food runner at The Club at Barefoot Beach.
some of my family have lost their homes, are facing heartbreaking loss, destroyed roads and entire communities flooded.
Despite the heartbreak, Ricardo’s spirit remains strong — a reminder of the resilience and unity that defines the Jamaican people.
I’m organizing this fundraiser to support my family and others across Jamaica who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. My story represents so many others across Jamaica who need our love and support right now.
This fundraiser was created to provide urgent relief for families like Ricardo’s through:
Canned and non-perishable foods
️ Air beds and sleeping essentials for displaced families
Clothing and basic supplies
Shelved foods and household necessities
Every dollar raised will go directly towards shipping and clearing of barrels of food to trusted persons and relief efforts working on the ground in Jamaica — ensuring that your donation truly reaches those in need.
Every act of generosity, every donation, every shared message makes a difference.
Together, we can bring comfort to the hurting, relief to the struggling, and hope to those who need it most.
Let’s stand with Jamaica — in One Love and strength through unity.
