My bestie, Kathleen Bridgewater's husband Randy, was in a serious motorcycle accident. He was on his way to California and a car pulled out in front of him. He is in the hospital in Indianapolis. He shattered his right femur, broke his left wrist and fingers, and has several broken ribs, which caused a pneumothorax (punctured lung), and broke a couple of vertebrae in his neck. We thank God he is not paralyzed.

He has undergone a "salvage" surgery on his right femur. He still has a 50/50 chance of infection due to it being an open fracture. Today, he went for a second surgery on his hand. The jury is still out on whether he needs neck surgery. This is going to be a long recovery for him and he needs his wife at his side. I'm starting this page to help Kathleen to be able to stay home with him as much as possible. Please give; any amount is greatly appreciated.

Of note, Kathleen fought me on doing this and I'm sure Randy would be pissed at me, but hey, what are friends for.
