It is my honor to post this fundraising effort for the medical and living expenses for one of my very best friends, Travis Cassell and his wife Patti Cassell. On Friday, September 6th, Travis came home to find Patti semi conscious on the floor. Patti was having a stroke. That day changed their lives. Patti’s stroke has inhibited her ability to speak and move the right side of her body.

Patti was rushed to Grady Hospital to the stroke intensive care unit, where a successful surgery saved her life. She has recently been accepted into The Shepherd Center in Atlanta where she will stay for several weeks and then continue rehab as an outpatient thereafter. Travis and Patti have already and will continue to suffer financially as Patti will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, and Travis has recently started a new business that is currently in the beginning stages. Travis has not left Patti’s bedside and continues to provide and monitor her care 24/7.

These are the times that great friends and family can really make a difference when we pool our resources to help our friends in need. I ask that everyone pray and give to relieve the financial stress on the Cassell family and allow them to focus on Patti’s recovery.

We all love them and want Patti to recover as soon as possible.
