Support Our Family During an Extreme Medical Crisis

This has been the most difficult holiday season our family has ever had to endure. My partner and father of my children has been fighting a very serious brain infection and because of this has undergone neurosurgery. Our whole house has been affected by illness, but worst of all Dimitris, my love was admitted into the hospital while his father, Christos is currently in the ICU struggling with pneumonia.

On Christmas Eve things took a turn for the worst regarding Dimitris. What we thought was just a virus became visibly concerning with a fever of 104°, cold sweats, an ongoing headache, along with confusion and disorientation.

On Christmas Day he was admitted into the neuroscience ICU where they determined that along with the RSV virus he also had an ear infection which they believe spread into his brain. He is now recovering from this unexpected brain surgery and the road to a full recovery is long. Meanwhile, his father is currently on his 9th day in the ICU hooked up to a breathing tube at another hospital.

Our family is reaching out to anyone who is able to help. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated as we do not know how long Dimitri's recovery will last and how long it may take for him to be able to return to work.
