Who I am:

My name is Taneisha Wright. I live in Tennessee, but I am originally from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I am a proud mother of four and work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) here in Tennessee.

Why I’m raising funds:

I am raising funds to support my community in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, who were deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. Many families have lost homes, belongings, and access to basic necessities like food and clean water.

What I’ve done so far:

Out of my own pocket, I have already shipped one barrel and one box filled with food and supplies to those in need. However, the shipping costs are high, and I want to continue sending more barrels to help as many families as possible.

How the funds will be used:

All donations will go directly toward purchasing food, essential supplies, and covering shipping costs to send barrels of aid to Ocho Rios.

If you are local, I also welcome donations of food or supplies — I can pick them up or arrange a drop-off.
