Help North Carolina Recover from Hurricane Helene

Hi, my name is Matt Genser, and I’m a senior at Wake Forest University, serving as the Philanthropy Chair for Chi Psi fraternity. Recently, Hurricane Helene caused widespread devastation in western North Carolina, leaving many communities struggling with power outages and supply shortages.

In response, organizations across Winston-Salem and Forsyth County—non-profits, businesses, schools, and churches—have stepped up to provide donation drop-off locations, raise funds, and offer volunteer assistance. However, more help is urgently needed.

To support these efforts, Chi Psi is raising money to purchase essential supplies and deliver them directly to these designated drop-off locations. We plan to make large supply drop-offs this Thursday, Friday, and throughout the weekend. Many of my brothers have taken the initiative, eager to help the people of North Carolina.

We would greatly appreciate any donations you can contribute, no matter the size. Your generosity will go directly toward purchasing and delivering much-needed supplies, and we will keep everyone updated on the impact we’re making.
