Support nikita's lil sister move forward after a tragedy

Hello, my name is Nikita.

I’m reaching out today with a heart full of pain and hope after a nightmare that no family should ever have to live through.

At 5:00 AM, I received a frantic call from my 19-year-old sister — screaming, crying — telling me she had been in a terrible car accident. I could barely recognize her voice through the fear and pain. When I saw the scene no words can truly describe: her face was covered in blood, deep cuts marks on her face and neck, and police lights flashed all around. Her teeth were broken, her gums badly injured, and the braces she had were twisted brutally in her mouth. She was rushed to Kaiser Hospital in California where they found that her jaw was severely broken and would require immediate surgery but then tried to send her home with ibuprofen so her boyfriend took her to a trauma center so they can get her the correct care and right treatment.

The accident was devastating and senseless. My sister and her boyfriend were driving down a dark stretch of freeway with no streetlights when an 18-year-old, with his car stopped and lights off, sat motionless in the middle of the road In just a split second, everything changed. There was no time to react — they collided and spun around 4 times My sister’s boyfriend tried to get her to respond, but she was unresponsive despite her eyes being open. He quickly pulled her from the car, and thank God he did — because a sec later, a large truck barreled into the wreckage. If he hadn’t acted when he did, we might have lost our baby sister that night.

The impact was so severe that it destroyed all three vehicles and sent everyone involved to the hospital, but my sister suffered the worst injuries.

This tragedy has left her facing a long, painful road ahead — multiple surgeries, countless medical bills, and months of recovery just to regain what was taken from her in an instant. She will need extensive dental work, jaw reconstruction, and ongoing care. On top of it all, she won’t be able to work during this time.

I’ve created this GoFundMe in hopes of easing the enormous financial burden that’s been placed on her shoulders. Every donation — no matter how small — will go toward her medical bills, surgeries, recovery, and helping her stay afloat while she heals.
