My mom was just diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. As you can imagine this has been an extremely difficult time physically and emotionally on her, and our family. My mom is literally the sweetest most selfless angel to walk this earth. She has always put her needs and wants last, bending herself backwards, inside out AND upside down for the people she loves. She doesn’t know what a day off means and hates asking for help. We have always struggled financially but she never complains and always figures it out one way or another, usually putting a lot of things on the back burner.

But right now, she could use help. She was conveniently part of her company’s lay-offs 2 weeks after telling them she has cancer. This also includes her losing health insurance. Trying to pay for necessities we’ve already been behind on seems impossible, let alone doing a single thing for herself to help with mental health or otherwise.

There’s so many things she still wants to experience and who knows how this diagnosis is going to affect her future.

All I wish for my mom in this hard time is that she had enough financial freedom to be able to focus on her health and this battle she has ahead of her without worrying about money problems on top of it all.
