Hi, my name is Melissa. I’m reaching out during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. My husband recently suffered a stroke, and everything changed in an instant. I’ve become his full-time caregiver, and while I’m so grateful he’s here with me, it’s been a long and emotional road.

Right now, my days are spent helping him with therapy, doctor visits, and the small daily routines that used to come so easily. He’s currently unable to drive, so I take him to all his appointments and help with everything he needs day to day. Because of his care needs, I’m unable to work, and our financial situation has become very difficult.

We’re doing everything we can to stay positive and focused on his recovery, but the medical bills and living expenses are adding up quickly. I’m starting this GoFundMe to help with medical costs, therapy sessions, transportation, and basic household expenses while I continue to care for him full-time.
