Hello, my name is Gabrielle. My grandmother’s helper, Melissa, and her family are facing unimaginable loss and devastation after the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. The storm has left their community in ruins — homes destroyed, families displaced, and lives shattered. Melissa has tragically lost five of her beloved family members, and several others, including her father, are still missing. The people of Jamaica are enduring unbearable conditions, with widespread flooding, food shortages, and countless families left without shelter or basic necessities.

This fundraiser is not only to support Melissa and her family as they struggle to rebuild their lives but also to help other families across Jamaica who have been affected by this disaster.
