Donate to Aid Leslie and Kyle's Healing Journey

Our Good Judy pianist/karaoke host, Leslie, and her husband, Kyle, can use our help. 

Within the span of a month, three separate ER visits plus a 9-day hospital stay have left Kyle working on his road to recovery. He has been seriously ill and has weeks to go before he is well, and it is unknown when he will be able to work again.

After an adverse reaction to a medication change left him with acute kidney failure and several other medical issues, he is finally recuperating at home and working to heal with the help of visiting home nurses, physical therapy, and follow-up doctor's visits. 

During this time, Kyle had to take medical leave from his freelance job and has been out of work since. Leslie has been working as Kyle’s caregiver and advocate, helping him personally, managing his meds, coordinating many doctors, and staying with him in the hospital. Leslie has had to turn down her usual work gigs and other freelance opportunities.

Leslie and Kyle are facing financial uncertainty, and they do not know when Kyle will be well enough to return to work. 

The contributions here would pay for items like certain medications and services that their insurance does not cover, plus help them with living expenses, like rent on their apartment, while they both navigate these uncertain times.
