It's time to finally post this. I've been in the hospital, mostly, since June 4th. I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. It's aggressive and spreads quickly, which helps to treat it aggressively with good results. Things happened quickly and I didn't have any time to process things before I was admitted so I didn't stress out, I was just immersed in diagnosis and treatment.

I am in nearing the second part of my four-part series of aggressive chemo and so far things are going well. I'm not taking visitors right now, so as to limit exposure while my immune system is low. By all accounts though, chemo is going well, with minimal setbacks.

I get to spend time at home between treatments as long as no setbacks and that is nice. Looking forward to seeing the cats again and spending more time with Jillian! If all goes to plan, I should be done with chemo in early September.

It's been pretty boring and there isn't a lot to do, but I've just been doing my time, watching all the Brewers games that I can. Don't know what I would have done without the help of my loving wife, Jillian! She is the best! I have stayed positive the whole time and feel like I'll be able to beat this and get past it. It's been intense, but it's helped to have loving family and friends for support! Work also has been awesome with everything!

I'm looking forward to getting through this and back to my regular life soon. Any positive thoughts or vibes that you can send my way would be greatly appreciated!

Kyle
