Donate to Aid Khadijah and Abdullah's Fight

We are starting this fundraiser in hopes to help support our dear friend and coworker, Khadijah as she undergoes this difficult time.

Khadijah’s husband, Abdullah Abdu-Rashid has been battling cancer and was just diagnosed with a serious bone infection as well. In addition to struggling with Abdullah’s diagnosis, they’ve had to travel to several hospitals from NYC to Buffalo in seek of appropriate care.

Abdullah is currently admitted at Upstate Medical University receiving IV antibiotic treatment in hopes of clearing the infection. Prior, he was set to start chemotherapy and radiation.

Abdullah has worked a variety of jobs while Khadijah is a nurse, working two jobs working with children in the medical field. Abdullah is a kidney recipient and ever since, this couple has been gradually enduring his illness.

Due to constant travel and specific care, Abdullah and Khadijah are struggling financially and cannot keep up with bills and any expenses for traveling for care and treatments. The couple is seeking thoughts, prayers, and support during this challenging time in their lives.
