Donate to Aid Justin's Medical Treatments

This is Justin, our nephew. Justin is like one of our own kids. He is a go-getter, creative, talented, hard worker, risk taker, funny & very loving. We have sent up many prayers when he has been on his adventures because we knew there would be risks involved - he has a zest for life & has tried to live it through experiences. He is an outdoors man (hiker, hunter, camper, skier & rock climber). He is bold & opinionated - which we love!

Justin just turned 40 years old & several months ago was given some devastating news. He was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, with 3 bulging discs & spinal stenosis. He is a builder by trade & very talented, but his current career has ended because of this news. He has been told the hobbies that he enjoys he can no longer do. He has three kids under the age of 7 & also cannot pick them up at this point.

Unfortunately, due to him being an independent contractor and with the current medical landscape and covered options, he doesn’t have sufficient coverage to pay for all of his treatments. These treatments currently are chiropractic, physical therapy, & dry needling. We are hoping he can start doing acupuncture as well. At 40 years old with a family to support & a mortgage he has to start over. If you have ever gone through or know someone that has gone through a diagnosis like this you know how much time and energy it takes to navigate. On top of this he has to figure out “what’s next” for him to make a living to support his family. All very big decisions! He cannot sit for long periods of time or even walk more than 4 blocks at this point.

Justin has a lot of pride because he has taken care of his household and his responsibilities without ever expecting help. When our son lost his home in the fire Justin was one of the first to help him rebuild his tiny house, when Sami/Carlos purchased their townhouse Justin was there to help them reconstruct the home. He has helped his own immediate family with building projects, friends and others. Now, it’s our chance to support & bless him and his family. I’m asking if you have a few dollars or several, will you join us to support a man who has helped himself through several obstacles and countless others. These funds will first go for all of Justin's treatments and then for needs for the family. His last appointment it was shared that it could take up to 6 - 9 months longer just for him to see improvement.
