A river flood has forced the town near Pucallpa, Peru to evacuate and has caused damage to buildings and property. This is where Josue and Jimi Rios, our curandero partners, reside when they are away from the nearby Chullachaki Healing Center, site of the plant dieta retreats our members attend each year.
We hope to raise money to support Jimi's house and Josue's office space that were affected by the flood. It will go towards temporary housing for 1 month while they wait to get back in, electrical repairs, and structural repairs.
Previously, our community and church funds has contributed to construct new buildings and create ayahuasca plant farms. Both of which are making a significant impact on the quality of service available there.
The symbiotic relationship between the North and South Americas that our communities contribute to, create a strength that makes the healing work and community building we do possible. Therefore, sharing some burden in times of need makes us all stronger.
Give what you can so that Josue and Jimi can more rapidly find stability to do what they love.
Read more below about Luna Wolf's relationship to the lineage:
Anchored in the Peruvian tradition, the connection to Amazon lineages is of great importance for our church mission. We have been fortunate to receive the blessings from our elders and teachers over the past 20 years to help conduct this beautiful healing craft. We’re currently working with Josue and Jimi Rios, the nephews of the world renowned healer Pablo Amaringo. This has been a gift to the community and our lead medicine carrier since 2019. Our ongoing yearly plant dieta retreats here, along with extensive training for our lead sacrament handler, Stephen, help to root Luna Wolf in the strongest way possible.
