Many people have asked about a GoFundMe for April and Josh, to donate directly to them.

For those who may not know, April was diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Positive Breast Cancer after suffering a neck injury due to a bike mishap while riding bikes with her nephews in early-September.

She unknowingly had breast cancer that had spread to her bones, causing them to be brittle, and when she hit a tree, her

neck shattered. She waited to go to the doctor due to her stubborn yet strong will, and they called her back after an x-ray telling her that she had an unstable fracture of her neck, which was compressing her spinal cord, and needed to get to Fargo immediately for surgery after stabilizing her neck.

She needed surgery to place a plate and screws in her neck to replace the shattered vertebrae. She has finished her radiation, and has started chemotherapy. The chemotherapy is making her weak, and hasn’t returned to

work just yet. She does plan to try and work next week.

Josh returned to work mid-November, once

April had mostly recovered from her neck surgery. April continues to need chemotherapy every 3 weeks and travels to Bemidji to receive treatment. Chemo will be needed for the rest of her life. She will have another PET Scan in a few months to track her progress in her fight. In the meantime, bills are still coming in and with April not working, any help would be appreciated!
