Help John Recover from Severe Health & Financial Challenges

Dear friends, family, and supportive community,

We are reaching out to share the story of our dear friend John, who has faced severe health challenges over the last five years. John has been battling collagenous colitis—a struggle that culminated in a recent hospitalization where he underwent two surgeries to remove his colon. After a three-week stay in the hospital, he is now home as he begins the long road to recovery.

In addition to these challenges, John has recently been diagnosed with severe malnutrition, leaving him further debilitated and in need of specialized care and support. As many of you know, he has been out of work for the past few months and will be unable to work for quite some time while he recovers. This situation has led to significant financial challenges. He has applied for disability assistance, but the approval process can be lengthy. In the meantime, he needs our support to get through this year as he stabilizes his health.

We aim to raise $30,000 to help cover essential expenses such as housing, food, and paying off his car. This support will allow John to focus on his recovery without the burden of financial stress.

We all know well that John is a very giving and loving person, always ready to lend a hand to others in need. Now it’s our turn to give back to him.
