Hi, I’m Ted—Jim’s youngest brother. Or as I call him, Jimmy.
Jimmy is a proud Navy veteran who served our country with honor so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today. Now, he needs our help.
Recently, Jim suffered a stroke caused by blood clots from dialysis. He’s currently in a rehab facility in Las Vegas, working hard to recover. The stroke left him deaf in one ear and unable to feel anything below his left knee. As of October 20th, he was being moved back to the hospital for further testing on another possible clot.
He’s also on the kidney transplant list, waiting for a match. On top of these serious health challenges, Jim is facing the loss of his job due to medical leave, and the financial support he was receiving has been delayed or cut off. The medical bills are piling up, and it’s becoming overwhelming.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Living costs while he’s in recovery
Physical therapy to help him walk again
Future relocation expenses to bring him closer to family in Florida
Jim has been through so much in recent years, but if you know him, you know he’s a fighter. He’s determined to get back on his feet—literally and figuratively.
If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. If you can’t, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this page with others are just as meaningful.
Thank you for taking the time to read Jim’s story and for supporting him in any way you can.
With gratitude,
-Ted
