If you know Jimbo, you know he will do anything for anyone and everyone. He has a great love of being outside, and he loves his garden!

A few weeks ago, Jimbo was working to get ready to plant his 752 watermelon plants and 180 tomato plants when he got into a freak accident where he got run over by his tractor. The doctors told us he is lucky to be alive. He spent 2 weeks in ICU and is now in the rehab hospital where he will be for a total of 2 weeks. During this time, my mom has spent 24/7 with him and has been a great support to him.

Jimbo and my mom are in their 70s and are on a very fixed income. I started this fundraiser to help with the loss of supplemental income that Jimbo brought in from surveying part-time and from the tomatoes and peas that he sells. There is also the extra cost of my mom staying with him 24/7 and having to pay for her meals and all the extra things they both have needed so far in the hospital. All of these things have been adding up. They will have many unforeseen medical bills that the insurance will not pay for and will have to pay for extra medical supplies to help his recovery and help him get around his house.

Every donation—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference and help ease the stress during his recovery. All this money will go to help with their bills, food, gas to all his appointments, and for medical supplies that are needed. Any money that is not used will be donated.
