I’m launching this GoFundMe for my sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Richard after he had a stroke on August 16. They have experienced so many financial challenges in the last few years, and unfortunately, this stroke has impacted his sight and therefore his ability to work.

While we are optimistic that he will eventually regain his sight and ability to work, he has run out of sick time and will have to go on family medical leave and temporary disability reducing his salary by at least 15%. That, coupled with the fact that Insurance doesn’t cover the corrective lenses he will need, the time off my sister will need to take to bring him to therapy, or the cost of a home healthcare aid when she is at work three days a week, I’m asking you to help support them and donate whatever amount you feel you can.

Should his recovery occur quicker, and we all hope that it will, my sister expressed a desire to pay it forward by helping someone else.
