Help Support James and Our Family Through Recovery

Two days ago, my husband James was in a serious car accident with our two youngest children in the car. By the grace and mercy of God, both kids are okay — though sore and bruised, they were checked out and cleared at the ER.

James wasn’t as lucky.

He suffered a fractured hip, multiple deep cuts to his forehead (one requiring staples in the ambulance, the other possibly needing surgical repair), and fluid in his lungs from the impact. He underwent major surgery to place a plate and screws in his hip and has since required three blood transfusions due to complications. As of today, he is still unable to walk on his own. His blood pressure remains low, and his body is trying to catch up to the trauma it’s endured.

James will be out of work for at least three months, and our car — our main family vehicle — was completely totaled in the crash.

We’re trying to hold it together — but the truth is, we’re overwhelmed. Medical bills are building, James needs extended hospital care and therapy, and we’re left without reliable transportation while trying to care for our family in the middle of all this.

We never imagined needing to ask for help. But here we are. We’re exhausted, humbled, and clinging to hope. If you feel led to give, pray, or simply share this, our family would be deeply, deeply grateful. Every act of kindness helps us keep going.

We believe God still has purpose in all this pain.
