My name is Jermaine Allen son of Mr. Chensie Allen. I am from New York and along with my family and peers we are eager to help Jamaica during this difficult time. My father along with my siblings were greatly impacted by Hurricane Melissa in Westmoreland Parish. After several days of trying to use social media, I was able to hear from my sister to THANKFULLY learn my family survived this horrific nightmare. Most importantly they have life and slowly but surely we will help them re-build. In the meantime, I would like to start by being able to send food and toiletries to not only my family but to neighbors/community members. As a proud Jamaican, I know we will come together to rebuild one of the most beautiful islands. My father is a life long tailor who loves his trade and specializes in making school uniforms.
