Our sister has fallen upon extremely hard times. She has been hospitalized 3 times since January, and even spent days in the ICU after being found unconscious. In March after having several seizures at the hospital, the doctors found lesions on her swollen brain.

At this time she has a huge amount of medical claims through her insurance. She is on an unpaid leave of absence, which she’s been on since March, and it is uncertain whether she will be able to return to work. She is currently under the care of two neurologists, and many other specialists. Currently she is undergoing testing for Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Sjogren's, and Celiac Disease, all of which she has symptoms of and positive bloodwork for.

After extensive testing including MRIs, CT Scans, Lumbar Punctures and tons of lab work, her MS neurologist is sending her to University of South Florida to further investigate her rare and very complex case. The test results are leading specialists to believe it is either Tumefactive Multiple Sclerosis or Lymphoma. She has neurological symptoms like neuropathy and others that affect her daily functioning abilities. She has completely lost her independence due to seizures. This has been extremely devastating for Heather because she has always been such a strong, independent, hardworking woman. She is no longer allowed to drive or to be left alone. These changes have been so debilitating and soul-crushing for her. As you can imagine her world has been turned upside down, and she is drowning from the hardships this has caused; physically, emotionally, and financially.

The extreme hardship our sister and her family are facing have led us to ask for any donations possible to help alleviate the strain.
