Donate to Aid Heather and Sage's Families

Hurricane Helene has devastated many cities in western North Carolina and the south East. My siblings live in Asheville and while their homes were spared, they have suffered from this once in a lifetime tragedy. I am seeking donations to help them recover.

Let’s start with my sister Heather, her fiancé Brandon, and her children. Not only are her and Brandon unable to work and are not getting paid but their wedding was scheduled for October 5th. The venue grounds are completely destroyed and travel into the city is unsafe. She has had to cancel her plans and has lost any money she has spent on the wedding. They also still don’t have water or power and have been told it could be weeks before they get some. They are filtering River water.

Now my sister Sage and her partners Pluto and Salem. Their home was one of the few in the neighborhood that didn’t suffer extensive damage but they also don’t have water or power and access into and out of their neighborhood is limited. With supplies in the city scarce and everyone unable to work and also not getting paid they have decided to leave and go stay with out of town family for the foreseeable future.

Please help me help them! The city of Asheville and the entirety of Western North Carolina will take decades upon decades to rebuild. Life is unimaginably changed forever. Any little bit will help them.
