We want to take a moment to express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt support to all those affected by the recent emergency climate events, including the devastating wildfires in California. These unprecedented disasters have left so many in our community facing unimaginable loss—of homes, belongings, and the stability they once knew. We recognize how challenging it is to navigate these difficult times, and we stand with you as we begin to heal together.

At Encore Music, we have always been dedicated to supporting our community, and right now, we are particularly focused on helping our educators, who have been deeply impacted by these events. We know that teachers are the backbone of our future—they shape minds, instill values, and provide support for the next generation. As such, we are raising funds to provide financial assistance and resources to our Encore Music teachers & students who have lost so much.

While we are incredibly grateful that our Altadena resident educators’ homes survived the flames, the damage from smoke and ash has been widespread. Personal belongings have been destroyed, cars have melted, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult. These educators have given so much to our community, and now it is time for us to give back and help them rebuild their lives.

Encore Music & Performing Arts is a music school providing private music lessons and group music & dance classes in South Pasadena, San Marino & La Canada California since 2017. Additionally, we provide quality music education to local school districts, including general music, band, orchestra, and choir.
