I'm starting this fundraiser for my son, Dominic Gonzalez. Dominic has a variation of Cystic Fibrosis. He struggled as a young child with asthma, had hospitalizations, several daily meds, including nebs, chest physical therapy, and antibiotics. He "out grew" many of his symptoms. He developed significant pneumonia 3 years ago that required a 10-day hospitalization. He recovered and went back to his life. He recently became symptomatic and was diagnosed with a large left lung bullae, which has caused damage to his lung that is not reversible. He has been told he needs his lung removed because it is non-functional. He thankfully has medical insurance, but will be unable to work for some time as he goes through surgery and recovery in August. I am hoping to collect funds to assist with his monthly bills, i.e., rent, utilities, etc. Please consider donating.
