David has been a devoted husband and provider for his wife and soon-to-be new granddad. Two months ago, David had knee replacement surgery and in pushing to get back to being the provider, he developed an infection that put David back in the hospital with a second surgery. David spent nearly a week in the hospital and is now home recovering. If healing goes well, David should be released to go back to work in late December.

With that being said, David owns his own business. He sells sheds, metal buildings, rents U-Hauls, and sells firewood. Needless to say, all of these take time to work deals on and prep the wood for sale. So even if he is back at work in December, this could take a couple of months to get the business back on its feet. The bills keep coming even when sales do not.

David and Lisa need to raise $3000 plus to keep themselves afloat until David can get back on his feet.
