Donate to Aid Daniel's Recovery Journey

This family needs our help and prayers. Daniel Zook, age 22, loved building things since he was very little and wanted to be a builder like his daddy, Emanuel (whom they lost 3 years ago to COVID).

On August 22, Friday afternoon, Daniel fell off a roof he was working on and hit his head and shoulder. He was unconscious and rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. The first rib under the collarbone is fractured and there is a small puncture in one lung. But the head injury caused bleeding on the brain and he is still unconscious now, Wednesday, August 27th. The mother of this very special young man is a single mom and can't afford to take off work but can't bear to go to work either because Daniel is much more calm when he senses that she is with him. The nurses even say that it's easier to handle him when she is there. His body begins to thrash around, taking several nurses to control him.

So the mother, Rachel (a fellow massage therapist), although she tried to go back to work through this pain and fear, collapsing at work, knew she needed to stand by her baby's bedside. They need each other now more than ever.

As a massage therapist, if we are not providing services, we are not getting paid. Please help me support Rachel and her family during this heartbreaking hardship.

Not only is this family heartbroken, exhausted, and overwhelmed, they are facing many hospital bills, all while trying to keep the bills paid so Rachel's other children do not go without. Rachel is a hardworking mother who needs help from us NOW. Anything you can give is very generous and much appreciated.
