My nephew, Damian, is the proud daddy of this little cutie, Micah (Mikey). In early June Damian received a call from Hershey Children’s Hospital (following an MRI earlier that day) that Mikey needs to get to the emergency room immediately. Damian was woking in New York and drove through the night to get to his beautiful son. The days following were filled with tests snd finally a diagnosis. Mikey has been diagnosed with bilateral optic pathway glioma. Mikey has started chemotherapy and the road ahead is unknown.

While this is new and early in the diagnosis, Damian is working on numerous ways to ensure his son has the best shot at living a great life. However, he is not able to go back to NY right now and the current place of care is over 2 hours away.

So, I am humbly asking for your help in supporting Damian and Mikey’s needs over the next few months. If you can financially support in any way, Damian, Mikey, and the rest of our family will be forever grateful. Your prayers are also needed and very much appreciated.
