My dad was in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 20th after participating in a local Toy Run.

He has currently been transported 4 hours from home down to Royal Oak to undergo neurosurgery because he has fractures in his back and another in his spine. As of now, he has no movement below his chest. Even with the absolute best outcome, this is going to be a long road. He is clearly now unable to work, and I am having to take time off to drive back and forth to him and plan his care. I have no idea what the medical bills are going to look like as we go forward with care.

On top of this, upon trying to drive down I found my vehicle is having issues. (Possible transmission problems) I was able to borrow a vehicle to make the trip down, but will not have one after tomorrow morning. This adds the expense of renting a car and paying to have mine fixed so that it can be reliable.

I will do anything and everything I have to do to ensure he is okay, but I am already struggling with the financial toll this is going to take on us. I currently am a single income household with two children. ♥️ This man is our whole world.
