Hi everyone. My friend Cas is going through a family emergency. Her beloved pet, Cheeseburger recently received a very serious diagnosis.

A message from Cas, Cheeseburger's human:

"Hello everyone,

Cheeseburger recently collapsed at home, and we rushed him to the emergency vet. After multiple exams and specialists, we were told he has a mass on his adrenal gland, and we’re now facing the terrifying possibility of Adrenal Carcinoma or Pheochromocytoma both serious, life-threatening conditions. On top of that, he’s been dealing with internal bleeding, a rapid heart rate, and a suspected syncope episode.

So far, his medical bills have reached nearly $8,000, and we’re still just at the beginning of his treatment journey. Between imaging, specialist consultations, emergency care, and whatever comes next possibly surgery and further hospitalization. We’re expecting costs to climb even higher.

If you’ve ever met Cheeseburger, you know he’s full of love, spunk, and stubborn Yorkie spirit. He’s been my best friend, my shadow, and my comfort for over a decade. I want to give him every possible chance to recover and enjoy more of his golden years, but I can’t do it alone. We are exploring every reasonable and compassionate option to ensure Cheeseburger gets the care he needs without prolonging suffering or taking extreme measures that wouldn’t benefit his quality of life.
