Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I’m reaching out on behalf of my nephew, Brenton, and his mother, Bobbi.

During Easter week, Brenton began experiencing seizures and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. He was eventually admitted to the NICU, where he has remained for over three weeks, fighting every single day. Doctors believe the seizures are originating in the thalamus region of his brain, affecting his sensory and motor functions through the cerebral cortex.

Brenton has undergone numerous tests, including plasma exchanges, genetic testing, and screening for autoimmune disorders, but we still don’t have clear answers.

Just recently, Brenton was transferred from Sacred Heart in Spokane to a St. Judes Center in Spokane to continue his treatment. His mother, Bobbi, is by his side every step of the way. Unfortunately, she has had to take significant time off work to care for him and is now facing financial strain.

We’re asking for help to cover essential expenses, rent, utilities, and basic needs, and any costs beyond what is covered by insurance so Bobbi and Brenton have a stable home to return to once he’s well enough to leave the hospital.
