Hello Friends and family hope you are all having a great day. If you are in the spirit of giving and helping someone in need. I am asking help for Bernie. Bernie has been in ICU for the past three weeks, and has undergone many tests, and procedures including two heart stents, another procedure to place another two stents in his stomach to decompress a psudocyst that had grown very large compressing his small intestine and making impossible for food to pass. Shortly after those procedures Bernie collapsed as he had developed a bleed from a blood vessel in his stomach that had burst, but for the skill and kindness of a very caring surgeon he underwent a 6 hour procedure to save his life. Just the past five days Bernie has overcome so much. Bernie has a long road to recovery and will require around the clock care, and rehabilitation, he has lost a lot of weight and is very weak, he also has a G and a J tube and will need to be tube fed and drained for an unknown time till he can return to solid foods. require round the clock care, and has a long road to recovery, and a time before he can eat solid food. Beanie is a very strong and optimistic person, even the nurses compliment on how kind and patient he is, what a fighter he is. Benie takes pride in providing for his family, he loves his job, and everything he does, he does with his whole heart. He also helps care for his wife who suffers from a rare illness (Dysautonomia) that causes many symptoms of syncope and fainting among a few. The recent events and trauma trigger more frequent attacks. They also have five fur children that they love.
