My name is Monae Walker in the United States and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Bashar Jamous, a good friend of mine who is currently living in Gaza.

Bashar has been keeping me updated on the horrific and dehumanizing conditions that he and his family are facing, and asked that I help him create this fundraiser because he and his family are in serious need of donations to care for themselves right now.

Along with the day-to-day horrid conditions, Bashar’s father is currently paralyzed and ill, and the expenses required to care for him cost $30 daily. If many people donate $10-$30 then that will aid him greatly.

Bashar does not have a bank account of his own and has asked that I fundraise and send any donations to him. If you would like to confirm this, please do let me know so that we can get resources to him as soon as possible.
