My name is Zunairah Syeid, and I'm a Bangladeshi-American high school student. Even though I have never lived in Bangladesh, I proudly call it my home, and it's safe to say we have been through a lot in the last few weeks. My heart breaks for all the families that are losing their homes and being displaced, so I decided I had to help in some way or another.

Any donations made will be channeled through an authentic NGO in Bangladesh, so rest assured that your money will go straight to the victims. This is my first time fundraising, and creating a page for humanitarian efforts, so sharing this link and donating would mean a lot, especially to the victims. $5 in USD is 600 taka in Bangladesh, and that would help a lot. These victims need food and new clothes, while rescue teams need fuel for their boats, and if they can, new boats. After the flood has drained, they will need funding to restore all the homes and businesses that were impacted by the flood, as well as money for healthcare to those that have hypothermia and cannot afford proper treatment.
