Our dear friend and co-worker, Tim Dooley, was the proudest soon-to-be first-time dad! He and his beautiful wife, Sarah, anxiously awaited the arrival of their child (whose gender was kept a surprise) and were ecstatic when Sarah went into labor! When beautiful Teddy Dooley came into the world the first-time parents' worst fears had come true, there was something wrong with the baby. The excellent nursing staff at Cox South in Springfield MO. rushed Teddy to the NICU and started administering life-saving protocols to stabilize the newborn. Within hours Teddy was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and his condition was worsening quickly. The staff at Cox made the decision to move the little guy to Children's Hospital in St. Louis. The parents, wanting nothing more than to hold their newborn, were now being transported and their son put on an ECMO to save his life. Fortunately for them, little Teddy is a fighter and is starting to stabilize, but unfortunately the toll on the parents emotionally as well as financially is staggering. We are asking for your donation to help this young family cover their mounting medical bills and other expenses and allow them to focus on what's truly important, caring for their newborn son.
