Donate to Aid Baby London's Recovery Journey

Hello family and friends I am Karina Hernandez, my baby boy is London. These past couple months has been really rough for my family. It started when I needed to have multiple surgeries for my intestines to be untwisted. I had an open stomach surgery to relieve my intestines so they could work again. Shortly after my surgeries I was being released from the hospital only to have to go back in with my baby boy London who was eight months at the time. We went in thinking it was gas from switching him from breast milk to formula. Unfortunately we found out my baby boy has a mass/tumor in his liver. This hospitalization has devastated my family as he is now suffering multiple organ failures. Our financial situation is hard right now, between staying with London day and night and also staying with our other children has been really hard. We’re trying to make ends meet but between going back and forth from the hospital to my kids, is putting a toll on how we are able to provide for them. Honestly it’s the last thing on mine and my husband’s mind because we just need our London to overcome this big unexpected diagnosis. It’s really heartbreaking for us as a family and I would have never expected this for my baby boy. All prayers for my London are greatly appreciated, as well as any donation you could make to us. We are very thankful for anything you can do to help us.

Update 2/2/25

He has a scheduled biopsy for this week to determine what his tumor is and he will be starting his chemotherapy afterwards. All prayers are still greatly appreciated for my London and if you’re able to donate we greatly appreciate that as well. Thank you and stay blessed!

Update 4/30

London is making improvements! He just turned one and has been doing his chemotherapy in Denver… he has a major surgery scheduled for next month to remove his tumors finally! He is doing a lot better than when this first began but he still has a road of recovery ahead of him… as you can imagine this has been really rough for us as a family… between traveling back and forth between Albuquerque and Denver and bills, times have been challenging. I hate asking for help but I haven’t been able to work because I’m always in and out of the hospital with London. My husband is working but we are still struggling to make ends meet with everything going on… Even if it’s a prayer we appreciate everything!

Update 6/28

London had his surgery and they removed the tumors!! He is doing his last couple rounds of chemo to complete his treatment plan…. As London was getting better, our family car decided to give out multiple times. Between breaking down out of town multiple times and getting different parts for the car, it has eaten up the little savings we had left.. I am glad to say we are at the end of his treatment plan but it’s just unfortunate that our transportation decided to give out on us now… If you are able to please help us get our vehicle running again with any donation we would greatly appreciate it! We just want to be able to finish his treatment plan and go home after his final scans! I also just want to take the time to say thank you to everyone! Whether you made a donation or said a prayer for my baby boy. I thank you because my London made a huge turn around and he shows me daily that miracles do exist!
