Our aunt Amy has been dealing with frightening health conditions which have left her unable to work. She has multiple sclerosis, which she has been battling for years. As a result of some of her necessary medications for managing her MS, she has had significant damage to her liver. The night of August 9th, she was rushed to the emergency room after feeling weak and vomiting blood uncontrollably. We discovered that what she had experienced was the rupture of veins around her esophagus, a condition which kills more often than not.

Today, we are lucky to still have Amy around. However, her hardships continue while she is too sick to work. Amy has three girls and a household to run. With her condition, she is fighting to get long-term disability and has not gotten a regular paycheck in three months. With all the delays and facing potentially not having income for nine additional months, we are creating this fund to help Amy be able to focus on her health and recovery rather than how she is going to feed her children. This was not created by her request - we are hoping to give her a surprise that can alleviate some of her burdens.
