Donate to Aid Ali Stinson's Healing Process

Hello, my name is Lori Lee. This past weekend, Ali Stinson was in a softball tournament for Bulloch Elite in Cordele, Georgia.
Ali was called to come help with the 18U team and was outside the dugout talking to one of the players. As she turned to come into the dugout, she was hit above the right ear by an overthrown softball at a close distance. Very freak accident.
It caused Ali to have TBI, a fracture to the temporal bone in the skull, which led to a contusion (brain bleed) on the brain.
When in Cordele hospital, they almost let her go back to play but then asked Hanna, Ali's mom, if she wanted to have any scans done. Hanna said yes since we're here. Thankfully, her mother's gut intuition was right, and that's when the doctor walked back in to say that Ali had a skull fracture that was bleeding internally and she would need to be flown to CHOA, which is in Atlanta. Ali was very emotional about that and very scared! The helicopter was declined due to weather, so Ali had to take a 3 1/2 hour ride by herself in an ambulance to the hospital in Atlanta. She was strong though and felt a little better because she didn't have to fly but was still very scared. She arrived at CHOA and had a massive amount of doctors and nurses waiting for her. Hanna arrived about 30 minutes after and was at bedside with Ali from this point on.
Ali has been in ICU for two days and just got moved to a regular room.
Hanna does not know how long this process will take for Ali to recover but only knows it can take months. She may be out of work for a while with only Josh (Ali's stepdad) working to provide for the family.
If anyone feels led to help this family during this time of need, it would very much be appreciated! We all know the world doesn't stop when things like this happen, and one thing's for sure, we don't want them to worry! Food at the hospital gets expensive, and the gas to travel back and forth to doctor's appointments once Ali gets to go home can be a burden as well. We want them to focus on getting Ali better. Continue to pray for healing, comfort, and no regressions. Ali is a rising freshman at SEBHS and is very active in sports. She is also the best big sister, friend, and teammate you could ask for. If you can't donate, that's okay; we are asking for prayers as well.
